Kevin is the broker and owner of Eagle River Realty, LLC and is a lifelong resident of Hamilton, where he lives with his wife, Heather, and two children, Lauren and Kallie. He came to the real estate profession with a background in contracting from building new homes to specializing in tile and bathroom remodeling.

In 2005, Kevin was recognized by the Otsego Delaware Board of Realtors with a Top Achievers award and a Rookie award for outstanding performance as a first-year agent. Again in 2006, Kevin was recognized with a Top Achievers award and was a multi-million dollar producer. Kevin received his New York State Broker’s License in 2006 and continues to build his knowledge of the Real Estate profession through New York State certified continuing education courses. In 2007 Kevin made the commitment to open his own Real Estate office.

Rob McCarthy has recently come to Eagle River Realty after working since 2004 for Redstone Properties where he was VP of their timberland operations. Rob was responsible for the purchase; sale and when/where appropriate the harvest of timber on the lands that he managed in the Northeast. He is well versed as an outdoorsman both due to his upbringing in rural Western Massachusetts, but also due to the large tracts of timber land he has traversed. Rob has also participated in the many development sales throughout the United States when necessary. Both he and his wife Wendy live in Williamstown, Massachusetts, the most northwest town in the state. They have two daughters, a granddaughter and a grandson.

In Rob’s first life he received his BS in Computer Science from MCLA and his Masters from the Life Institute of America, from Berkshire Life Ins Co., where he worked for 20 years through various technical and managerial jobs as well as large fund-raisers, special committees and councils until moving into the realty business with Redstone ñ Rob’s family business is generationally in the tree business, that is where the timber side of his experience came from to allow for the move.

Rob is looking forward to helping each and every individual or family experience the joy of home or land ownership. With his exposure to so many situations in the financial world, in realty and in land knowledge, you will have someone to count on for anything at any time.
